Itinerary

  • Arrive at Colombo airport meet & greet, proceed to Kandy via Chilaw Muneshwaram, Manvari temple - The temple complex is a collection of five temples, including a Buddhist temple. The central temple dedicated to Shiva (Siva) is the most prestigious and biggest, and is popular amongst Hindus.
  • Pinnawala Elephant Orphange-Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.Eelphant breeding, Animal Welfare.
  • Overnight stay in Kandy

  • Visit Temple of tooth- Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.
  • Hanuman Temple- This place is believed to be the site where Sita was held captive by (Vikram) king Ravana, and where she prayed daily for Rama to come and rescue her in the Hindu epic, Ramayana. On the rock face across the stream are circular depressions said to be the footprints of lords Hanuman.

Located on the Beira Lake, it was completed in the late 19th century.
